Members, who are known as Chartered Certified Accountants, are employed in industry, financial services, the public sector, or in public practice. As a member you can also gain the status of Registered Auditor.

Entry Requirements
At KBM LSABS, this qualification is open to UK and EU students only. Your starting point may differ depending on your previous academic achievements.
Professional Examination Route
Students with any of the following previous qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Two A Levels and three GCSEs or equivalent in five separate subjects, including English and Mathematics
- CAT Level B (complete)
- AAT (UK) Intermediate (complete)
- BTEC National Certificate (any subjects)
- Advanced GNVQ (any subject)
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 (any subject)
- Degree (any subject, from a recognized institution)*
- ACCA Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance (complete)*
- Full AAT Qualification*

Fundamental Level
Fundamental Level
Stage 1: Knowledge Module
This is the first module in the ACCA qualification and is part of the Fundamentals Level. As the title implies, you will be learning about the basic principles of accounting.
There are 3 compulsory papers to complete:

Stage 2: Skills Module
This is the second module in the ACCA qualification and is part of the Fundamentals Level. At this level, you are developing the basic technical skills that are required to become an accountant. The units require you to analyse, explain and complete detailed calculations.
There are 6 compulsory papers to complete:

Professional Level
Stage 3: Essentials Module
This is the third module in the ACCA qualification and is first at the Professional Level. This level builds on what you have already learnt. You will be required to analyse, explain, make recommendations, and write reports, in addition to completing complex calculations.
There are 3 compulsory papers to complete:

Stage 4: Options Module
This is the final module in the ACCA qualification of the Professional Level. It builds directly on the equivalent papers in the lower Fundamentals Level. You will be required to analyse, explain, make recommendations, and write reports, in addition to completing complex calculations.
There are 4 papers out of which the student has to take any two:

ACCA Professional Ethics Module
This module is one of the main papers in the ACCA qualification. The paper covers all the papers at the Professional Level and three of the Essential papers.
The Professional Ethics module is designed to test you on what you have studied and the practical experience you have gained. In addition, you will be shown to a range of ideas of how to work ethically.
The paper will be made available to you when you have access to the P1 (Governance, Risk and Ethics) paper. It is advised that you take this paper around the same time as the P1 exam. It's imperative that this module is complete before you can become a member of the ACCA.
Experience Requirements
The studying alone is not enough to achieve the ACCA qualification. Students will need to gain at least three years industry experience to gain the title, Certified Chartered Accountant.
A fundamental part of the ACCA is to gain practical experience in the accounting industry to support your newfound knowledge. With the experience, knowledge and the right ethics, you will be ready to undertake the testing role of a professional accountant.
The ACCA qualification is framed to link your experience to your studies; therefore, you will be able to apply the theory you have gained from your studies in the workplace. Thus, showing future employers you have right combination of skills and knowledge.
